Beverly Marshall's Story
Life
I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1989, with a B.A. in history and a minor in publishing and printing arts. In 1990, I helped found Wizards of the Coast, Inc., maker of the Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon trading card games and now publisher of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. eat friends and really loving the chance to shape the games I like to play. In February 2000, shortly after the company was acquired by Hasbro, I left. After a few years of reading, traveling, gaming, and hanging out with friends and family, I went back to editing on a part-time, freelance basis and now am a writer/editor for Hidden City Games, makers of the Bella Sara trading card game and online world. Rick and I live in Seattle's Phinney Ridge with our two cats, Rashid and Surya, who are spoiled so rotten that it's probably a good thing we don't have kids.
